Sri Sri Karunanidhi Swamigal is the Founder and First Adheenakarthar (Mathadhipathi) of Tiruvannamalai Adheenam Math, a religious institution established in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu.

Establishment of Tiruvannamalai Adheenam Math
With the vision of establishing a religious institution dedicated to Saiva Siddhanta, Sanatana Dharma, spiritual education and charitable activities, Sri Sri Karunanidhi Swamigal founded Tiruvannamalai Adheenam Math in Tiruvannamalai.
The Math was registered at the Tiruvannamalai Registration Office on 7 October 2026, as stated in its registration records. Sri Sri Karunanidhi Swamigal serves as its Founder and First Adheenakarthar (Mathadhipathi).
The institution aims to serve as a centre for spiritual guidance, religious learning, charitable service and the preservation of traditional spiritual values.
Religious and Charitable Services
Sri Sri Karunanidhi Swamigal is committed to promoting spirituality and serving people through religious and charitable initiatives. The principal areas of service associated with his mission include:
- Annadhanam: Providing food to sadhus, sannyasis, pilgrims and members of the public, particularly along the Girivalam path of Tiruvannamalai.
